Hello 2008! My first day of 2008 was actually rather sucky due to a horrible bout of food poisoning ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. We had dinner on new year's eve at this new overpriced Japanese restaurant with tiny portions and nervous waiters. I had this kobe beef thing that wasn't seared enough and was quite raw and then I found myself puking for like 10 hours straight D: At first I thought I was just really drunk, but I mean you usually throw up like once maybe twice and then you're fine but this was ridic D:
LOL my poor b/f witnessed it all ♥ but he took care of me during the day ;A;

Xmas was great this year! My parents gave me this giant box and when I unwrapped it I thought I got shoes (which is always a great gift ♥) because the box was a giant shoe box but then I opened it and found a nice card. Underneath it was a picture frame with the word 'love' and a pic of me and my b/f inside :D Then there was all this shredded paper underneath and my mom was like dig inside! Then I found a perfume I told her I wanted, Narciso Rodriguez for Her (which is totally delicious and delicate and feminine, I love it). So anyway I was pretty content by then but she said to dig more and then I found the next best gift you can get aside from shoes....a little baby blue Tiffany's box ♥ It housed a pair of teeny sterling silver earrings :DDDD

Good times all around, and my b/f got me a beautiful leather strap bracelet with Swarovski crystals! It matches a DKNY watch I bought myself last xmas season. He also got me some beautiful prints by Oksana Badrak. Her work is so surreal and interesting *-*

I hope everyone had a great new years, I still have some xmas presents to mail out to people D: Kate I have something for you but I guess I'll give it you in person when we meet up. Do you and Ashley wanna have brunch or something this Saturday?
