Air France

On Friday I got to go to this private airport hanger to take pics of this outfit that won an international fashion competition called Air France. The outfit was designed by Megan Stein,a fashion student from my school. It was the first time a representative from America won this competition. The outfit's design was inspired by propellars and planes or something so hence being at the airport hanger. Anyway being there was so surreal and cool! All these neat one and two engine planes *-*

I feel weird working with models, I get more inspired by inanimate objects and landscapes than real people o.O; Plus I mean the person really has to know how to pose so the photographer can get a good composition and the like. With inanimate objects they're still so you can make up your own angles and take your time to really shoot them properly.

I love them all, especially the first two. the colors are so vibraaaaaaaant. those shoes are hottt :o

I think the next to the last one is the strongest. There's like this crazy white glow outlinging her and the negative space is nice. 8D

#5 & #6 = ♥ times 1000!

I love them! I really like #5 she does look like a bitchy pilot heh, and #6 has that weird glow that makes the photograph look interesting.

You know airplanes remind me a lot to FAKE?'s New Skin single cover, I love that cover so bad.. I even made a wallpaper out of it and I haven't changed my desktop in months because I grew attached to those lovely shades of blue in the sky <3

lol i'm glad ppl like that glow...i was wondering if it was awkward or something o.O; it happened 'cuase i wanted to enhance the sky.

The outfit is... interesting. I love pretty much everything except for the weird collar. it looks like a beak ;-; the pictures are beautiful too! great job

I love that jacket... and the planes in the background make her look like a jet fighter from the future. Right up my alley.

you know i think the planes help make the haute couture aspect of the outfit more accessible to ppl who aren't into fashion and who wouldn't initially grasp the concept behind the outfit. 'cuase on it's own the outfit doesn't make much sense lol.

Wah, what a great opportunity for you and those are fantastic 'photos. I really like the first one, the shadows and the strong vertical and horizontal shapes in the picture make it leap out at you, like the photographs is trying to stretch out of the frame.

Models aren't to bad to photograph because they've learnt how to pose and work with a photographer but photographing friends etc I find quite scary because you don't know what they're going to be like when they are in front of the camera.

I like that outfit, but it seems the wierder the clothes the more I like them.

As always, your photos are very beautiful. ^^ I know with most photographers (at my school mainly), they try to make you focus on the model, but with yours, you're able to take note of everything within the photo. Aha, congrats to your school! ♥
