we can't shoot a dead woman! she might be someone's mother!" - Wesley

LMAO! I went to see WANTED yesterday. Oh the hotness that is James McAvoy, I've loved every movie that I've seen him in. I thought he did such a good job with the character he played in this movie, you can't help but root for him from the beginning. I picked up the WANTED graphic novel a few weeks ago and the Wesley character in it is kind of annoying. BTW they used NIN Everyday is exactly the same in the beginning of the movie and the way how they integrated the music with the folly sounds of the train in one of the scenes was really beautiful and amazing.
The director of this movie was the same who directed the Russian movies Daywatch and Nightwatch both of which I found utterly UNWATCHABLE because of the overuse of special effects. Every scene was some really obnoxious detailed SPX shot and the story and characters had no moment to settle, it was really disconcerting and I couldn't even finish watching Nightwatch. BUT those same visual effects techniques were used in this movie much more effectively and added to it rather than detract. I think whomever edited the movie did a good job with balancing the comedic, dramatic, action packed and visual effects scenes.
I thought Angelina Jolie' Fox character was interesting in how introspective she was, Angelina said she basically cut out a lot of her dialog from the movie because she didn't think Fox would be much for words. I kind of dig it because it makes Wesley's story stand out so much more and at least this movie didn't have some cliche love story where the female heroin turns into some victim in need of rescue by the end of it.
Anyway I thought this movie was a lot of fun, its a good fantasy piece to just get lost in and not have to worry about real world BS going on around you.
